Illinois To Go Bankrupt?

Democrats will never do anything good for our country, and states are already going bankrupt due to their policies. California was one of the loudest anti-Trump states, but it’s safe at this particular moment. But, Illinois goes through its toughest stage so far, and things don’t look too bright for the state.

Illinois may soon face severe bankruptcy, and Republican Governor Bruce Rauner said that the state is slowly slipping into “banana republic” territory. This is bad in so many levels, and we can only wait to see the further development of events.

The state bears too many billions on its back. Officials are stuck in unpaid bills and pension obligations. Reports reveal that 100% of their monthly revenue will sink into court-ordered payments. This is the worst scenario Illinois ever hoped for, but things like this are common, especially if you follow strict Democratic policies.

The special session of the Democrat-led General Assembly is supposed to pass the first “full budget package” in three years. If this attempt fails, the state will lose everything, including the lottery. Illinois lottery is watered by payments from the legislature. The current payment expires at the end of the month.

“It is disappointing that the legislature’s inability to pass a budget has led to this development and will result in Illinois lottery players being denied the opportunity to play these popular games,” explains Illinois Lottery Acting Director Greg Smith.

Some experts believe that Illinois can’t declare bankruptcy, of course, unless the Congress gets its hands in.

“Nobody here in Illinois is considering bankruptcy—first of all, it’s not allowed. Second of all, it would damage the reputation of the state and it’s just not necessary,” said Steve Brown, press secretary for Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan.

What do you think about this? Do you think that Illinois will declare bankruptcy?
