Gowdy Goes After Leaker In Coats Case

Every scandal in our country seem to be associated with any type of leaks and testimonies. We know that ‘leak’ is Hillary’s least favorite word. Well, guess what… Rep. Trey Gowdy hates it, too. Gowdy is fed up with the recent events in our country, and now promised to go after the leaker of Coats’ hearing.

Trey Gowdy is one of the most decent people in our country. He seeks the truth, and promised to expose Hillary Clinton and her crimes. Gowdy has a new goal, and it involves the person who leaked information about Coats’ hearing. The Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats testified before House investigators, and the session was held behind closed doors. But, part of the hearing is now available to everyone, and Gowdy is pretty furious.

He went on Oufront, and shared his concerns about the leaker. This came after he and Rep. Adam Schiff made a promise to Coats, and told him that his words will never leave the room.

“About eight hours ago, Adam Schiff and I looked Dan Coats in the eyes and we assured him that there would be no selective leaking of his testimony to us. And I’ll be damned if eight hours later, there aren’t three different leaks with what he told us,” Gowdy said.

According to him these leaks could affect the further flow of events, adding that witnesses may not be too eager to tell the truth. “You’re going to have a chilling effect on other witnesses who want to share classified, sensitive information when it makes its way to the headlines before the transcript is even dry,” Gowdy added. He is right. Now witnesses will think twice before sharing sensitive information.

When asked if he thinks that President Donald Trump committed obstruction of justice, Gowdy said that they don’t investigate crime, adding that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is in charge of this.

So, this raised too many questions. Who is the leaker? We can make a few guesses, but let’s wait for more information.

What do you think about this? who leaked the information of Coats’ hearing?
