President Trump has long warned about the danger imposed by fake news. Many networks took part in the anti-Trump resistance and released fake information about the President. Liberal reporters had the perfect plan to undermine President Trump, but things didn’t work well for them. Now even CNN decided to do something about this.
The network retracted a recent story about President Trump and Russia, and three of its staffers resigned. Now President Trump decided to strike CNN, and we can’t do anything but agree with him. “Wow, CNN had to retract big story on ‘Russia,’ with 3 employees forced to resign. What about all the other phony stories they do? FAKE NEWS!” President Trump tweeted.
CNN decided to retract the story because it didn’t meet the criteria. “The story did not meet CNN’s editorial standards and has been retracted,” read the official statement of the network. The retracted story was based on an investigation into the meeting between a Trump associate and the top person in the Russian Direct Investment Fund. According to the CNN staffers, the meeting took place before Inauguration Day. According to CNN executives, the staffers didn’t do the necessary checks and balances. The resignations came as a result of their failure to follow proper procedures.
President Trump released an avalanche of tweets, and called CNN the Fake News Network. “Fake News CNN is looking at big management changes now that they got caught falsely pushing their phony Russian stories. Ratings way down!” the President added.
Scaramucci is an American entrepreneur. He worked on the transition team, and President Trump picked him to be the Director of White House Office of Public Liaison and Intergovernmental Affairs.
President Donald Trump is right. CNN should follow a stricter policy, and stop releasing fake information. It’s time to do things right, and networks should retract every fake story that has been released to undermine President Trump.
What do you think about this? Do you think President Trump should do something more about the problem? How will this affect other news outlets? Do you think they will retract their fake information?
