President Donald Trump had a rough start, but people love him. Decent Americans voted for the better candidate, and Hillary Clinton was out of the game. Although the Democrat candidate didn’t have any real chances of winning the elections, Hollywood still supports her. But, Joel has something to say about this.
Hollywood celebrities use every opportunity they have to mock the President. They all have a distinctive way of criticizing our leader, and patriots aren’t buying any of it. We saw Meryl Streep at the Golden Globe Awards. Her speech was full of hate! Snoop Dog made a shocking video in which he shoots a clown that looks pretty much like President Donald Trump.
These two weren’t the only liberal celebrities who attacked President Trump publicly. Kathy Griffin shot the final bullet. The comedian made a shocking photo session in which she posed with the President’s bloody hand in her hand. We can only imagine the horror Baron went through after seeing those disgusting images.
Many celebrities criticized the President from his decision to withdraw from the Paris deal. But, they will never admit that President Trump did the right thing for his country and people who live in it. America doesn’t need any expensive treaties, and the President is aware of it.
Billy Joel agreed that Hollywood performers are “more like court jesters than court philosophers.” We couldn’t agree more, Joel. The songwriter is aware of the fact that the crowd doesn’t need his political views. He knows that people love him for his music. “I try to stay out of politics. I am a private citizen and I have a right to believe in my own political point of view, but I try not to get up on a soapbox and tell people how to thing,” Joel said.
Joel is right. Unlike most liberal celebrities, Joel understands the rules in Hollywood. We can only hope that Joel’s colleagues will follow his example, and stop doing politics.
What do you think about the comments Billy Joel made? Do you think celebrities will keep criticizing President Donald Trump for everything he does in office?
