Raskin Tries To Impeach President Trump

Democrats use the word “impeachment” too often. President Donald Trump has had a lot of problems these days. Although he promised to make America great again, Democrats won’t let him do his job. This time they really crossed the red line.

The anti-Trumps are doing their best to get President Trump impeached. We can’t really understand their frustration. Things got worse after Inauguration Day. But, things don’t look too bright for them.

Reports confirm that 25 House Democrats and the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee are trying to pass a bill which would lead to the creation of a congressional “oversight” commission. This commission will have the only goal to declare the sitting President incapacitated. Eventually, President Trump will be removed from office as provided by the 25th Amendment to the US Constitution.

Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md, led the “witch hunt.” He wrote an email to his colleagues, and encouraged them to start the procedure. According to Raskin, it was “of enduring importance to the security of our nation.” Raskin sent his email just a few hours after the President’s comments on MSNBC cable host Mika Brzezinski.

Raskin says that his email was triggered by the avalanche of events and outbursts that took place after President Trump was inaugurated. He explained that “every human being is allowed one or two errant and seemingly deranged tweets.” But, Raskin didn’t give up on his attack against President Trump.

The 25th Amendment was first adopted in 1967 right after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The purpose of this amendment is to provide solution to problems associated with the sitting president who is unable to perform his duties.

According to Section 4, the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet should determine whether the president is “unable to discharge the powers and duties” of the office. The further writing to Congress would eventually remove the president from his office.

Raskin is trying to play this game, and he hopes that the Congress will help him get President Trump impeached.

What do you think about this? Do you think this bill will be passed?
