It seems like Fox News hosts can’t leave the spotlight. The network has been caught in the middle of so many scandal lately. But, it seems like the “best” is yet to come. Fox News host Charles Payne will have to do a lot of explanation.
Roger Ailes was the first person to be removed from Fox News. A massive sexual harassment scandal put an end to his career at the network, and his son promised to bring the justice out.
Bill O’Reilly was also cut off, but he was just a victim of a disgusting smear campaign. Liberals will never agree with media people who disagree with them. That’s why O’Reilly was terminated. He was accused of giving money to the women he allegedly harassed. Fox News CEO led an internal investigation, and decided that O’Reilly doesn’t fit the network’s program.
Many said that conservative fat cats are planning to create a new network which would throw Fox News at the second position. Well, let’s say that this was just a rumor, but Fox News is definitely facing another major scandal.
Fox News Business host Charles Payne was suspended while the execs investigate the accusations against him.
Payne was in a three-year “romantic relationship” with a “married female political analyst.” He has already apologized to his wife and children.
Scottie Nell Hughes is the “victim,” and she is now accusing the host of sexual harassment. Hughes is a strong supporter of President Trump, and we have often seen her in cable news.
“Former CNN Commentator Scottie Nell Hughes has accused Fox Business host Charles Payne of sexual harassment,” Yashar Ali, a Huffington Post reporter tweeted.
“We take issues of this nature extremely seriously and have a zero tolerance policy for any professional misconduct. This matter is being thoroughly investigated and we are taking all of the appropriate steps to reach a resolution in a timely manner,” Fox News execs wrote in their statement.
What do you think about this scandal? Do you think there is something else behind the sexual harassment accusations? Will Payne have the same destiny as O’Reilly?
