Fox News was determined to introduce huge changes in their program, but got stuck in the middle of several massive scandals. We bet that the Murdochs didn’t even think that thing would go this far.
Many argued that the execs are trying to change every bit of the network, and the termination of Bill O’Reilly only added fuel to the fire. We all heard the story about the new conservative network that could easily replace Fox News. But, this was just a rumor, and conservative fat cats are still quiet.
Roger Ailes was also removed from the network. His career at Fox News was ended by a huge scandal, and the former CEO was fired. This was quite a big story, and everyone had their own version of it.
But, many viewers were shocked to hear that Bob Beckel will be fired. He was removed from his position as cohost of The Five, and we couldn’t provide more details about this. Truth has finally found its way out, and people learned the truth about his removal.
Reporters wrote how Beckel is fired for making “insensitive comments” towards an employee. The victim’s lawyers now reveal more details about the incident. “Mr. Beckel stormed out of his office when our client, a Black IT employee came to service his computer, telling our client that he was leaving his office because he is Black,” the lawyers explained.
But, that’s not the only thing the lawyers said. According to him, their client complained to Human resource Officer Kevin Lord, and was then intimidated.
Attorneys Douglas H. Wigdor and Jeanne Christensen said they “intend on holding 21st Century Fox accountable for these actions.”
But, Fox News had different opinion. “As Mr. Wigdor knows, Fox News made the decision to terminate Mr. Beckel after a prompt and thorough investigation. His client raised the complaint to Kevin Lord, EVP Human Resources, on Tuesday evening via email and within 7 minutes Mr. Lord responded and began the investigation,” they stated. Well, this is strange.
What do you think about this? Do you think there is something more behind Beckel’s firing?
