Tucker Carlson Talks About General Mattis

We are seeing an amazing crew at work in the Trump administration. It is incredible what they have been able to do considering they are coming in after 8 years of Barack Obama. But that is exactly why Donald Trump was elected to do. Now we are seeing more and more conservative values coming to light. It is obvious that this administration wants to help conservative people in this country get their voice back. For 8 years that had to deal with the hate that they were shown and that was not okay. One of the many things that conservatives are passionate about is out military. General Mattis recently pushed back the deadline of when it would be announced if transgendered people could join the military.

But Fox News’s Tucker Carlson did not agree with General Mattis’s decision and said that he should have gotten rid of the whole thing altogether. Mattis released a memo talking about his decision. ”

“After consulting with the service chiefs and secretaries, I have determined that it is necessary to defer the start of accessions for six months,”Mattis said. “We will use this additional time to evaluate more carefully the impact of such accessions on readiness and lethality.”

It seems like a pretty straightforward thing that is currently happening but Tucker Carlson makes some good points.

“Well, OK, I’m sorry, I gotta stop you there. First of all, he’s a coward. He’s a coward who should have resigned when asked to do this, because in no sense, with the data you described or not, does this make the country safer. And if you can prove otherwise, the floor is open to you. How does this make America safer?” Carlson tried to make himself clear.

There are obviously some very hard feelings on this subject and there is not way that we can come to a good decision for all without some arguments like this one. Somewhere in the middle of all of this there has to be a good decision that can be made to help all Americans be safer than they are right now.
