New Twist In Comey’s Case

Comey is on it again, folks. The former FBI Director was caught in the middle of the biggest scandal in US history which led to his firing. We all remember the memos that were supposed to change things, but nothing goes in favor of Comey.

President Donald Trump didn’t like the way Comey does things, and decided that the Bureau goes in the wrong direction. We all agree that Comey turned it into a political tool, and that’s the last thing federal agents should get involved into. Comey did a terrible mistake back then, and it seems like he can’t make up his mind.

First, the former FBI Director claimed that President Donald Trump has nothing to do with the Russian investigation. Democrats kept saying that President Trump is trying to keep Comey away from the White House, and even said that our leader has tried to obstruct justice.

But, right after his initial statement, Comey said that President Trump may have affected the investigation, and even asked him to shut it down. We all remember how Comey changed his mind again, and said that President Trump didn’t interfere into his investigation. So, maybe Comey should pick a side and stick to it.

Latest reports suggest that half of the memos in Comey’s collection were actually classified. Well, we didn’t see this coming. Comey’s conversation with President Trump contained classified information, as confirmed by officials.

So, did Comey actually broke the rules of FBI? He literally ignored the security protocol that he criticized Hillary for.

Last month, Comey shocked the country when he revealed that his Columbia University lawyer friend knows about these memos. He even asked his friend to leak one of the memos to the media. This was supposed to attract the attention of a special prosecutor.

“So you didn’t consider your memo or your sense of that conversation to be a government document? You considered it to be, somehow, your own personal document that you could share to the media as you wanted through a friend?” Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) asked Comey on June 8.

“Correct. I understood this to be my recollection recorded of my conversation with the president. As a private citizen, I thought it important to get it out,” Comey answered.

What do you think about the latest development of Comey’s case? How will the whole thing end?
